Greetings from the Critique Club.

Composition: I can see what you were aiming for. But for silk smooth you want something gentle and calming...nothing extreme or harsh. The composition is good...but her eyes show some form of alarm to them...this doesn't relate or work in conjunction with the challenge topic.

Technical: This is the area that has really let you down. There are too many blown areas and the 'silky smooth' materials are in some form of shadow and unfocused in some areas. This doesn't portray the subject well.

Overall: I like the subject..and the idea...but feel that some work on the technicals and a bit more study on blending it all together will certainly improve your future entries.

i like this idea but i think the lighting on her face and on the right side of the fabric is too harsh. this, in my opinion, could have been executed a little better. overall, nice job.
