Morning Egret by PatsfanComment by jhomrighaus: I liked this shot, seemed a little over processed for my taste, oh and for what its worth, this is a Great Blue Heron and not an Egret(Egrets are actually a subgroup of the Herons), but I doubt anyone held it against you, Great Job. |

Day 6 (Edit)by PatsfanComment by one2one: This image is great and gives off a soft gentle feeling. Good pp. A bit low in contrast but it suits this shot nicely I find. |

Day 6 (Edit)by PatsfanComment by Louis: I like this crop quite a bit. I also like the inclusion of ordinary stuff in the frame, like the edge of the wall socket and the large soft shadow around it. Nice portrait. |

Day 6 (BW)by PatsfanComment by SJCarter: I like this MUCH better in B/W. You might try a little dodging & burning around your eyes to bring them out a bit more. A little more levels adjustment might increase the tonal range too. Still I think this is a much preferable version of this shot (which I do like for its casual relaxed attitude and composition). |

Day 3by PatsfanComment by colorcarnival: Again - brave of you to do this near water. It's interesting to see the effect that either gaussian blur or noise-reducing software had on the photo. Almost like a painted effect here. |

Day 6 (BW)by PatsfanComment by TCGuru: If I may say? I do like the colouring of the B&W better. I am not fond of the crop. It makes you seem crammed into the frame or forced somehow. Your eyes are in total shadow here... try moving a table lamp behind and to one side of the camera :) Keep it up! You are doing great! |
