I love the expression on Nicole's face in this shot, a nice mix of insouciance and little girl lost. For me the black and white worked well, it was just a bit of a shame that the girl with ear muffs skated into the frame beacuse without her I think this would have scored very very well. Impressive amount of comments means that at least you provoked a reaction (and generally a very good one given you ave score per commenter)

Oh Charlene! I thought this was outstanding while I was voting. However, when seeing it, I figured it wasn't dpc friendly enough to snag a good score. Too bad, really. I think it's excellent and wonderful.

What a wonderful photo. However I see it flipped and cropped so that the little blonde girl is in the lower right and the column is gone. I see jedusi see's it the same way.
