This is my 1000th comment and I knew I wanted to write it somewhere in your portfolio of outstanding and inspirational work - your portfolio was the first to prompt me to press the 'Add this photographer to your favorites!' button and is one that I return to often.

I just had (yet another) look through your offerings and couldn't believe this exceptional image had no comments, so I knew I should write my 1000th comment here.

As you know, I am a big fan of the tones you manage to create in your black and white work and this image offers a particularly excellent example of your talent. Also, the super-sharp eyes; the sheen of the skin on the arm; the silky texture communicated in the fabric of the dress; and just the right amount of background blur in the hammock all conspire with the light to produce something really special.

I hope we all get to see some more work from you soon.

I really like this photograph. I think that the lack of color showcases the longing that the woman has. The reflection is brilliant, as well as the texture of the mirror/window.
