Fenceby hajekaComment by Ken: Good example of taking something ordinary and making it into something much better. It would have been very easy (for me anyway) to walk past and not even think of taking a picture. That reflection adds that little bit to give nice balance to the shot. |

Week 11 - Tapeby hajekaComment by Alicia: Makes for a good abstract - I love the flow of the tape and how the light glints off of it.

View behind meby hajekaComment by cogerox: The contrast seems a little low on my screen, but I have a feeling you wanted it that way - just a hunch. Love the line of trees following the canal around the bend. The broken fence adds interest. Great set of photos, Henk-Jan. |

Reflectionby hajekaComment by cogerox: Wonderful composition with that reflection, and the daffodils are beautiful both in and out of the water. Gotta love spring, don't you? Interesting how the metal pipe almost becomes a vase for the reflected flowers. |

Geeseby hajekaComment by cogerox: Probably the most ubiquitous bird in the world, yet you've captured and presented them beautifully. Lovely composition with subtle colors and tones. |

Fenceby hajekaComment by cogerox: Interesting how we can find pleasing shapes and compositions anywhere we go. Great job of turning the mundane into abstract art. |

Blue skyby hajekaComment by cogerox: What a shame modern man hasn't devised a way to prevent these leviathans from destroying our beautiful landscapes. We photogs have learned to live with them, haven't we?. Seems you were shooting in fairly bright light, ergo the high contrast. I like your composition, but may have preferred it a little less centered. |
