This is a great capture, even with the quickness of the Robber Fly. I can only imagine the shot you could have got if it had held still long enough. Love all the detail, amazing to see the little hairs on the body.

Greg, I can so appreciate a shot like this and if u don't mind would like to comment further about it.. You can say oh shut it if u want:)... Horses are not always easy to shoot and have him looking good in the shot.. A couple of tips is not to shoot broad side or head on as the horse looks like the broad side of a board /flat if u know what i mean.... Where as if u shoot from another angle his composition will stand out.. It makes him seem alive.. Always be sure ears are up which u did .. i know what u are after and Yeah for going after it..
I think u have the potential to really nail a shot like this..

Awwww. . .I love this!!! We don't get to see too many photos of Roz. I love her sweet smiling expression. Prob'ly cuz she knows she doesn't have to do the whole yard. My kinda woman! :) Congratulations on the new mower. Much more time for shooting bugs, huh? :)
