...went back to look at this and to add to faves. Just noticed how deliberate the framing/cropping was, with those arcs on the top-left and right side of the image. At first I thought something was wrong with the composition but the more I look the more I realized I loved the balance and flow of the lights and darks and all the leading lines. Again, very nice.

this is amazing .. the wasp is perfect in every way .. all the focus concentrated just on her/him .. I LOVE THE BORDER .. and i'm usually not all that keen on the larger more dramatic ones .. this one seems just about metallic and it really makes your photograph pop inside it especially with the inner vignette .. the colours are stunning .. brilliant shot and process .. :) .. WOW .. !!..:)

fantastic colours .. they are beautiful and dramatic .. the way the insect is facing works so well .. the overall composition is just perfect .. i'm not that into large borders but this one seems to compliment the drama going on inside it .. excellent depth of field .. the clarity wonderfully concentrated on the bug with the details bluring everywhere else .. :)

It's so pretty that it would be a shame to crush it and release its less
desirable attribute. I very much like the 'idea' of your frame, but would
like to see a more muted color so as not to compete with the good looking bug.

Very similar comment than on the last image. The insect is good, and the colour are rich and beautiful. The frame, however, to my eyes doesn't not complement the image, although with this image I think it works a bit better than with your other (the wasp) image.

The wasp is beautiful, and I like the rich colours of the picture. The frame, IMO, takes away from this richness.
