Not unlike the old musicians joke - "should we play it fast, or half-fast?"

This is a really nice shot, and I like the half-faced part of it. I think I'd like it more if the body of the cow were alligned with the head, so the body didn't dominate the frame quite so much. A little less DOF might be nice too, but you're already at f/3.5 so may not be much option there.

The flowers are bit gray - what did you use to convert (and what color are they to begin with?) This could be a good shot to try different conversion methods to see the effect on the lightness/darkness of the blossoms and the overall contrast.
