Ev's gonna kill you for this. Great shot, though - I really do like the composition. Has a sense of fun and frivolity to it, despite the fact the cow looks deadly serious. |

Great tonal ranges here; I haven't been here from the beginning, though (I started late and only breezed through the initial pages). What have I missed? |

Love that swirl of hair on top of the head. I like the experiment in cropping too. Life can be so boring without playing. |

Half cow = half decent gag? Works for me. But I agree with what eamurdock said in regards to perspective. |

Not unlike the old musicians joke - "should we play it fast, or half-fast?"
This is a really nice shot, and I like the half-faced part of it. I think I'd like it more if the body of the cow were alligned with the head, so the body didn't dominate the frame quite so much. A little less DOF might be nice too, but you're already at f/3.5 so may not be much option there. |
