Michelle, I really like this one too. I think it is better generally than the out take. I didn't vote in this challenge, but would have probably given it a 6/7. I would have expected it to do better.

I didn't vote on this challenge but when flipping through the photos I noticed this. It is so intimate, right there, can't look away - amazing effect. Very arty and most interesting.

I keep staring at this image and am amazed at all of the detail, texture, emotion and feeling in a powdered donut. While drawn to the center in-focus part of the donut, and the in-focus bit of sugar that has fallen off, the image still guides the eye around the frame and warrants an investigation and study of other other parts of the image and the composition as a whole.
