 mmm Bisquick makes the best pancakes lol.

2 cups of Bisquick
1 cup of milk
2 eggs

stir, drop spoonfuls onto frying pan (I use oil too because my pans are old and crappy), fry! I also add chocolate chips to the batter - kids love it.

This was one of those I lingered on in voting - I really like the way you lit it. Adds so much more atmosphere than the usual set-up shots. (And don't tell anyone, but I love to eat the batter...)

Lovely shot. It really captures that "early morn" feel to it and the focus is just perfect to highlight the making of a batter. Love the lighting coming through the wisk and into the bowl!

As for some commenters.......pbbbbbtttttt! (Try RASPBERRIES in your batter with the chocolate chips....mmmmmmm........yummy! *grin*)

I gave this an 8 and totally loved it. The lighting is so outstanding, and the composition is unique and interesting. What a shame that it didn't score better - I have no idea why, really.

Michelle, I really like this one too. I think it is better generally than the out take. I didn't vote in this challenge, but would have probably given it a 6/7. I would have expected it to do better.

I like how you highlighted the whisk, but the rest of the bowl is pretty dark.
