As the zebra glances back over his/her shoulder it creates this wonderful curved path from the base of the neck traveling all along the tufted mane all the way to between the ears. Great timing to capture that fleeting moment where the curve is present! And of course the B&W suits this image well for it is not only the colors of the zebra but it shows off all the bold contrast between the light and dark without any other colors or elements to distract.
