the gymby rozComment by nam: The merge is seamless and I suspect the view through the window adds much interest. There's certainly no question about context here. insteps said it well when he called the piece "an abstraction of the gym workout". Very nice use of grain. |

the gymby rozComment by insteps: I like it with simulated film grain. Your photograph is complex, has a lot of detail, and the grain unifies the layers. It's an abstraction of the gym workout. |

sundaeby rozComment by Ecce_Signum: This is cool Roz! Whilst I also love nice sharp shots of kitties I think this type of image lets the viewer make their own minds up as to the finer detail and fill in the blanks. |

the gymby rozComment by Ecce_Signum: So much more than a bit of grain going on here Roz. I'm guessing your shooting through the window into a mirror? (so many good reflection shots in this SC). In my mind the guy is peering over his spectacles giving you s look that says 'don't photograph me whilst I feel like this). I think this would be too busy as anything other than B&W and the grain adds more to the scene (I can almost smell the sweat).
And thanks for the nod re grain! I've enjoyed this side challenge and especially playing with some of my less used 'lenses'. |
