Using a flash never crossed my mind and we do have a totally black cat in our family.

Everything I love about the essential ingredients of photography is here. Light, monochrome, composition, timing and emotion. This is what I think of as the Noble Snapshot, which genre I think is the highest expression of photography.

Most photographs are a depiction of an object. This photograph is an object. It's beautiful, and indelible.

Hi Roz,
Sorry I didn’t get to comment on your image during the challenge. This was one of my favorites. I can just imagine you driving down the street and your companion checking things out as you drive along. I love his seat cushion! It is also notable that your drivers side is on the opposite side of us in the U.S.A. This picture was captivating to me because it represents real life and tells the viewer about you as a person. It stands out with personality that many of the other images do not as they are just artistic pictures of windows and don’t say anything to the viewer other than they are “pretty”. Well done and thank you for letting us into your life!
