We all struggle with those things, it's just part of getting older. But, learning how to deal with anxiety and depression is a big part of the solution and I think you're doing just fine. I'm not going to ask you how you did this but it looks like multiple exposures combined..? Anyway, I might have to try that if I can figure out how it's done. I do have Photomatix so maybe I'll experiment. In the meantime, keep doing stuff, it's the best way to combat those feelings. (((hugs)))

This looks like a simple faux-tintype, but it's quite a bit more than that, isn't it? The extravagant vignette is perfect, but the reflected feet is the magic touch that elevates this photograph. Plus, especially when viewed as a thumbnail, it's an indignant face. Love it. 8. Thank you.

This is glorious, just glorious. The shadows are as telling as that which casts them. Whatever the challenge I would give it a 10 and rue the constraint. And further still, I would give a 10 to how you're facing your own challenges with determination and heart. Art and pain can be trying friends, always testing each other, pushing each other. Personally, I feel you do your utmost to make things right by your lights, but when it comes down to it you play the hand you're dealt with courage and, again, heart. So, I'm grateful for your gratitude and the inspiration you offer.

I think you've nailed it. That zone we enter where our worries fade away.. that's exactly what happens when I take my camera on a trek. Katee agrees and she's just making sure you're still there and haven't fallen into a rabbit hole. Cute photo!
