not fair, such a dog! (Have I mentioned our one and only dog had a similar stripe/blaze down her otherwise reddish coat? Basenji/Lab, most elegant, but every time I came near her with a camera she would get up and walk away).

Yeah... when I have an image that's doing well, it always falls in the last few hours. If I have an image that's stinking... it goes up in the last few hours.

I'm very interested in this phenomenon, actually.

This should be the cover of a magazine. I love the way the color of the bee blends in with the background and yet is so sharp it stands out. The softness of the flower also accentuates your subject. Just a perfect balance. My favorite of the challenge and one of your best! Congratulations.

Soooo gorgeous. I gave it a 7 early on (when I was doing the initial walk-through and that's the highest score I hand out) but did my bumping relatively late. One of my two 10's and Mary Ann got my other one :) Terrific work.
