DAY 23. edited. turpentine trunks .by rozComment by UNTITLED: I've often tried similar types of photos with little or no success. I think what works for this, aside from the great light, is that you composed in such a way that the pattern of trees is pulling you into the photo. Very, very nice! |

the ultimate light sourceby rozComment by 777STAN: Agreed! This photo would be greatly helped by higher resolution. Maybe check gamma & resolution settings in Control Panel. (I had to switch from old TV-tube monitor to 25" Flatscreen to improve final results of my entries. World of difference!) |

IMG_8912 blue train s4w.jpgby rozComment by shamer: I like this one better than your actual entry - there's less implied tension, and certainly the color blue seems to take center center stage at first but ultimately I think it would have served to accentuate the red - not diminish it. Either way it makes for a neat image... |
