Well for me the sharpened image works very well for this and not only shows the protection but also makes the lines on the window stand out (as in appear 3d)

I agree with you about the crop, m thoughts on this (for what they are worth) is that basically this sort of centred shot works really well when you have got a symettrical pattern. because of the two windows and the mesh you feel as if you are going symettrical but then the right hand side of the arch although it is the same shape as the ledt hand side of the arch kinda throws the image out because of the difference in tones of each side. Just a thought

Wow that's cool! The tombstone in back looks like an archway.

Great textures on this. I like the conversion. I just took some photo's in Boston the other day and one of the churches there had a mesh under all of the doorways (where most of the details were) to keep birds from nesting.

Wow! This is really emotive. The bug and web make it kind of creepy -- but like it is supposed to look. Really amazing for you to see the "photo" in this. It's great!

Yeah, its a shame to mess up what looks like an obviously beautiful stained glass window with wire mesh :( How people are brave enough to vandalize a church at the risk of. . .I don't know. . .their souls or something. But it does make a very interesting photograph, and I think the sharpening works great.

I love your stories, Roz! I love how you are so conversational -- its like really hanging out with you. You're awesome!
