Great idea for the Challenge.
Looks like an old dish, and your idea comes across.
Colour is fine, and the dust works fine, like the way the paint shows it peeling off nature.
Lighting works great too, especialy with that shadow off to the left side.

Composition - Excellent composition. I think the idea of this challenge was to have the lines lead to the subject as opposed to the lines going away from the subject. Regardless of anyone's definition, this is a great image. The birds are framed in the picture very well. The picture overall is very well framed. The colors are super. Well done.

Technical - This photo is very very crisp and clear. The one little problem I think there is with this picture is that most of the birds have a small washed out part on their white feathers. It isn't anything major but I do believe it has some effect on the quality of the photo. Dropping the EV by a -0.3 would solve that. A very very well taken photo though.

Overall - Very deserving of the score. Well composed and executed. Great eye to capture this shot. Nice job. Good luck in future challenges. - Inspzil
