Definitely Celosia. The flower tags I have say "Castle Celosia."

Anywho... I have some in my flowerbed right now, but I have no idea how to take a good shot of them. I sit there with my camera, and just stare at them... then turn to the easy targets, heh. Maybe by Day 31 I'll brave the Celosia.

Definatley look like Celosia (Cockscomb) to me.. and yes.. I see the little toad!! I love these, but have never had much luck keeping them alive.. The flowers of course.. not the toad! :)

Mr. Toad is well-camouflaged (and desaturated I'd guess). There's also a little bug on the yellow flower. Lots of life in this one!

TeeHee! Very cute shot! The footpowder makes this a very humorous shot, but even without the powder it would be a great composition! I love the way the bottom plants grow out like laces! Nicely done!!

Not voting, just commenting. I like the color and composition. The light inside the lantern is especially nice and I like the black background. The crop seems a little tight on the sides, and the image feels a little off balance to me. I would try rotating it CW very slightly and I might tilt the little top ring toward the right. However, still life is not one of my talents, so please weigh what I have said against your other comments, and of course against your own preference.
