Ok. .I decided I don't hate the desert anymore. You have made it so beautiful. and THAT is a compliment because I lived lots of years as a kid in El Paso, Texas and decided anything even remotely resembling the desert was "evil" (just kidding. ..sort of), but you have really shown just how beautiful desert regions can be!

Catherine!!! This is AMAZING! I don't think I've ever seen those soft golden grasses displayed in such a beautiful composition. And I LOVE photos with those grasses in them -- but this is the best one I've seen. Wow! I am loving browsing thru your pictures! Off to go see some more :)

Ohmygoodness! This is such a beautiful photo. The architecture matches and contrasts those rugged mountains so well. Your title is awesome too because that's exactly the impact your photo has when it starts opening up from the top. You expect to see a mountainous landscape, and then those interesting crystal clear buildings are truly a delightful and impressive surprise which turns this photo from special ordinary . .. to EXTRAORDINARY :)
