I would remove whatever it is behind her head. It also looks like her right arm is doubled, or reflected or something... Anyway, for me, trying to figure out what these things are take my attention away from the main subject of your portrait; the beautiful model with the pleasant smile.

If this is really your first portrait, I can tell you that you are starting off a lot better than I have.

Nicely captured and great perspective. The flash grabs to much of the ramp on the left wich draws me away from the subject. Definitely should have burned that area to tone down the brigthness. Still a great effort. Good Luck. 6.

it is a great capture and the focus is pretty good for what was I am sure a tough shot. I really am not a fan of the lighting though. The flash just ruins it a bit. I ams rue it was needed since it seems pretty dark out but jsut makes for harsh lighting.
