Differently the Sameby WildcardComment by Germaine: I think I would like this better on a wall than on my monitor. I think it's a shot that you have to stand away from to take it in, and for that reason, to me, it comes over better in the thumb. Up close there's just too much blur, although I really like the body language. Must MNSHO. 8) |

Cartwheeelby WildcardComment by bob350: Excellent approach to bluring via manual focus, which is harder than it looks. It is easy to get an image that just looks badly focused. This one still has a well-defined subject, and the short shutter speed kept the person from looking mushy. Your choice of tone and brightness cap it off nicely. I think it should be framed and displayed prominently, maybe in a recreation center or school. |

Remember That Summerby WildcardComment by bob350: I like them both. The color version is like a splash of activity fresh in the mind - not enough time to catch the finest details, but you know it was fun. The black and white version is like an older memory, not so fresh and fun, but a welcome impression of a sparkling good time. |

Differently the Sameby WildcardComment by levyj413: I continue to really like what you're doing in your shots. You're not just jiggling the camera to make blur for blur's sake, you're challenging the very notion that we need detail to get the story of a scene. And you're inspiring me to try it. :) |

Differently the Sameby WildcardComment by nixter: Blur here is perfect, as is the lighting. It simplifies everything down to basic shapes and form very nicely. Having them dressed the same right down to the bags over the shoulder is a bonus! |

Differently the Sameby WildcardComment by Jutilda: With the long legs and body it makes me think of a Modigliani painting, although most of his work was just faces. As blurred as this is, it still tells a story. Nice. |

A Good Book for Companyby WildcardComment by Bruce_the_Robert: This for me is primarily a candid, and the blur (as has been said) works in that respect to add to that feeling; it is a shot, though, that I think would not be substantially different had the focus been sharp. |
