LOL! I've actually seen something like this once. I wonder if there was a joined building that they tore down, or stairs that have been removed. Go figure. Great find and processing, as usual for you!

Amazing shot -- it looks as if you cut and pasted a door onto a brick wall. Either that, or the door is just suspended in space. The whole thing is nice and weird. Nice choice for b&w.

Well my son... back in the early teens this place was a juice factory and this was the loading dock. When the juice factory closed a Mr. Scrantch came in and decided to make this place an office building. The fire code dictated that there must be a separate door at the opposite side of the building so he converted the loading dock to be a door. Since folks only had to escape if there was a fire no steps were ever installed. Now'a days... well ole Scrantch is dead and no one even has a key to this door. So much for fire escapes.

lol this is hilarious. Your composition really emphasizes the fact that the door is above the ground lol. It does make you wonder. Great black and white processing.
