The suggesting of burning the ice while skating is not there, if that was intended. There is no leg in the shoe, the skate hanging on its laces really indicates a stationary position.

Very good lighting effect and I like the toning. I know it's difficult without editing but this would be improved withought the hotspots (mainly the one on the arm and the one showing through the back left of the chair). Also, compositionally, I think it might have been better to be on the right side of the frame, since the chair is facing left. Still overall, you've achieved the goal of making something mundane extraordinary!

Like the tone and softness of the subject. Not crazy about the huge dark vignette surrouding the chair on the uneveness of the area directly around the chair. Still very nice overall.
