Occultation: Venus & Moonby BlackboxComment by digifotojo: Beautiful capture Brad! I missed this one but would have scored it 7 or 8. This has an ethereal quality to it.. too deep for some people, I'm afraid, but definitely a classic!! |

Occultation: Venus & Moonby BlackboxComment by Teafran: A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but of less than universal appeal. A good entry into the challenge. |

Occultation: Venus & Moonby BlackboxComment by aliqui: I read about this, and I was trying to figure out how to take a photo of it if Venus was supposed to be behind the moon. Duh! Take it right before it goes behind the moon.
Great execution on your part. |

Dance Little Sister - Rolling Stonesby BlackboxComment by bob350: Wonderful capture of joy in (and perhaps stimulated by) a striking environment. I saw several children spontaneously dancing and jumping happliy in similar setttings last week. To me, the setting is just as important as the dancer. Having a shot that does not include a face allows the viewer much lattitude in creating internal stories about the image. I was unable to vote in this challenge due to travel in red rock country of southwest Utah -- but the trip helped me appreciate your entry. Riff on "Rolling Stones" a welcome extra touch. |
