Fences do make good backdrops. I like the offset composition and the focus is a bit better here. Nice casual, comfortable, & natural pose too.

Great out of the frame shot here mate. I like to see the negitive space re the rule of thirds. What I mean is, your half profile one third of the image, and the negitive space two thirds of the image to balancwe re the rule of thirds. You nearly have that, but not quite.
