Rainy Night on Broadwayby citymarsComment by jomari: Great diptych with good tie in theme. I particularly love your top image. One of my favourite paintings is The Umbrellas ( or Les Parapluies ) by Renoir. Maybe if he'd gone round behind his models he would have painted something like this. The like patterns on them all make an interesting pattern in the picture. I wonder why there were so many the same? |

Rainy Night on Broadwayby citymarsComment by Germaine: Hmmmm. I really like the upper shot, with the reflections and umbrellas. I like the bottom one, too, as a candid. For me, they just don't tie together. But that's just me. Nice processing on both. The colors are vivid but not overly so. |
