I love photos of statues (I think that is an underappreciated art). Just a slight change in light and shadow creates a whole new attitude in facial expression. So of course I love the shadows and texture on this.

Ok so now, hopefully this doesn't ruin it for you, I have to say that when I first looked at this, I really thought that the face on the statue bears a slight resemblance to George W. Bush. Just look at the eyes, nose and mouth. Yes, no, maybe? hehe

With you being this high up, I bet it is exciting to watch a storm come rolling in. Love the dark moody contrast compared to the other photo.

Now for fun, have you tried taking pictures of people in the other buildings? The white blobby thing in the upper left caught my eye and got my mind wandering... :D

Hmmm I feel like a small town kid now... I find the fact that a store in a big city has baby dolls wearing sunglasses in a shop window incredibly amusing. For sure, this is a good slice of life photo lol.
