That finger looks nasty. I bet that hurt A LOT! Sorry and hope it heals well.

What struck me about the shot was first the wound and then the black crescent shadowy shape - which I assumed to be the part of your finger that you amputated, like it was falling away or lying on the ground/table.

i'm starting to think that you've become invisible nick .. you take these amazing candid photographs and it seems like no-one is even aware of you ... you must have a wonderful knack of blending into the background or something ..
