These smoke shots are always interesting, such as this lily looking one. For me, I would like this a little better if the stick at the bottom right was cropped out. I still would have scored this hight for the challenge

Composition of this seemingly simple shot is what caught my eye. I think the shot would have been less effective had the boat been dead center. The boat seems to just be sitting motionless on top of the water. Good use of vignetting. No comments on improving this.

The composition and coloring are perfect. Before I read the title I thought it was at sunrise because there looks like fog over the water in the background. The ship off the the left works perfectly to fill what would be some empty space on the left. I would have scored this a 10, although I am slightly biased having been born and raised in Staten Island.
