Yes, it's noisy. Yes, it's deliberate. In fact, I had to add noise. It was much less interesting without it.

This one works very well for me. It has a strong kinship to Posthumous's image. The noise is a definite plus IMO. Overall, it's eerie and horror-movieish, which is a compliment coming from me. I love B-movies :-)

I like the noise here and the composition as a whole. The only thing I am a bit worried about, well not too worried, but strangely curious are the black eyes. It almost seems like a sci-fi thriller flick with the eyes. I like the effect, but not sure if that was what you were going for with the title?

What's wrong with you. Haven't you learned by now that noise is evil. Actually, I love it.

Jeff- I like it. The noise works really well and I like the thumb sucking to add some nervousness and fear.

Oh I feel like I've seen this in a movie. The graininess enhances the spooky feeling. Love the thumbsucking and the doll.

Very grainy but otherwise a nice thought provoking shot.

Very eerie and dramatic. Terrific light and composition. I like the grain and b/w conversion. 10

Great Composition and Imagery, Would've liked to see it at a lower iso or use of neat image. You kinda become distracted by all the noise on the walls. All in All a great capture!

Love the grain as well as the ascent from darkness to light. Simple, uncluttered setting allows focus to be on the child as well as the shapes/light/shadow.

Interesting how the corny look adds something to the environment.

Was the grain/noise intentional?

way to grainy for my taste. With proper lighting this would have been a great shot.
