Even without the title the first thought I got was he is sitting there passing the time waiting for his date to show up so I guess that said the title works with the photo.

Overall the focus of this photo is good and there is a definate limited dof keeping the man in the photo the primary subject.

I feel like there is something missing through, perhaps a little more of the atmosphere being recognizable would have made it score higher than it did.

It meets the challenge and definately does have an appeal to it, nicely done and I will be looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I'm so disappointed this ended up way back here. I really liked this shot. I suspect people couldn't see the "night on the town" in it. I love the angle, the lighting and the contrast. Its just marvelous. :)
