Sunburstby LimboComment by Haneck: Cheerfully beautiful! Just as a thought, I personally might have adjusted the color a bit to make the yellow a little more orange/gold. But that's totally personal, this is beautiful just as it is. ;) |

Weekday - Weekendby LimboComment by adrian45: This is one shot, taken in colour, converted on the left to B+W by the sound of the glasses thing. Is this you, or did you take this, or both? If it's one shot, an unusual shirt, or one over each shoulder
Quite inventive - you like a challenge, obviously.
I would maybe have done this in two shots, kept the shades and glasses whole, and just superimposed one over the other - but that may not be such a challenge
It has given me an idea though for a shot of me

Down on his luckby LimboComment by adrian45: This is a classic mix of beauty and sad situation. How can people be in a situation like this, and we take such a beautiful shot of them?
Makes me want to get him out of there, haircut, off the cigarettes, help get a job, a wife, a life, a bright outlook, and happiness. It takes time and commitment to do that though, and I have always been too selfish to do it.
This photo makes me want to be a better neighbour, person, and friend
Congratulations - that is not an easy thing to do! You look like you care about this man. I guess you may not have been kidding about the Ghetto comment on the reflecting flower shot! |

Blue in Bokehby LimboComment by adrian45: My word! Looks like the bug has big pupils in the eyes - very effective, and wonderful biting colour.
Well done |

Grumpy Toadby LimboComment by adrian45: Toads give me the creeps - but this is a handsome beast, no doubt
Toad portrait session? Looks like to me. I can just see a slight side view, with head turned towards the camera, and a broad smile, in my mind's eye. He (maybe she), needs an evening suit on, and I guess a spot on the background, and that's just perfect. (bit like the singing frog in 'Meet the Robinsons')
Beautiful shot - how many lenses do you have, by the way - I counted about 4 so far Message edited by author 2008-07-09 18:39:29. |

True reflectionsby LimboComment by adrian45: I can't imagine you in a Ghetto home - not a trace in your work - keep SELLING this sort of work and you won't be in one long!
very good, flexible photography, and lovely colour and saturation - I had the same camera, but never got anything remotely as good as you can produce - please don't waste that talent, but use it to fund a better quality of life if you are serious about the Ghetto.
Best Wishes for bright future! |

A drop of lifeby LimboComment by adrian45: Oh, that's just showing off!
Beautiful arrangement - well done - love the red background contrasting with the clearness of the water, and the mini flower head in the drop - admire the lens quality!
You are a very good flexible photographer - keep taking the shots!

Young and Oldby LimboComment by adrian45: What a wonderful contrast between the flaky, old, dried look to the meaty older hand, and the smooth, almost transparent waxy look to the baby hand. (apologies if it is your hand, no offense!)
I have never seen such a telling contrast - usually it is a mother's lovely smooth hand, and the baby's whole hand wrapped round one finger - this jolts me somehow - I feel my age more when I see this - it is so like my hand! |

"Oops!" I did it againby LimboComment by adrian45: This is a beautiful shot - crisp and biting sharp, lovely colour, fascinating bending of light from the marble top below through white of the egg - I assume that's what it is. Very nice quality! |
