Took an initial photo of the setup with a mirror instead of the frame. Cropped, skewed and inverted the flower. The image was then printed out. Put in the same place instead of the mirror and I took the submission shot.

If I'd had more time I would have sorted out the background and adjusted everything to remove the reflection of the flower in the frame. Needed a break from my ghetto home made light tent though and had to shoot the water challenge.

I hope that someone asks for validation ;-)

Well no one asked for validation. Guess it was obvious enough.
Surprised, but pleased by the 6th. PB if you don't count last weeks screw up. lol.
Thanks all.

I can't imagine you in a Ghetto home - not a trace in your work - keep SELLING this sort of work and you won't be in one long!

very good, flexible photography, and lovely colour and saturation - I had the same camera, but never got anything remotely as good as you can produce - please don't waste that talent, but use it to fund a better quality of life if you are serious about the Ghetto.

Best Wishes for bright future!

Very cute. Love the idea of a floral reflection.

Great idea, the highlights on the blue flower are distracting but overal the idea and image work nicely.

Really nice. I like how it looks like a painting and not like a negative.

At first I thought RULES VIOLATION... but I understand now.
Truly creative with both the positive & negative.

How is this done with global changes only? Only way I could figure out was if you took a picture of the flower, inverted it, framed it and then took this picture and inverted it. Very cool idea - I would never of thought of that on my own.

This is an excellent idea. Wish you could have done advanced editing to eliminate the wrinkles in the background. It'd be fun to see you re-edit this without the constraints of Basic editing rules.
