Have you found anything yet?by william88Comment by PapaBob: I gave this one an 8 but would have probably given it a 10 if it did not appear so over sharpened, it is such a great capture and getting 2 of these guys over a flower is just awesome. Great shot |

The Conductor of Hummer Air Orchestraby william88Comment by william88: Originally posted by CJinCA: So sorry about the DQ William. :-( I really don't agree with it at all as it was not a major element in the image to me, and we have all seen lots of cloning done in other images that have NOT been DQed. If the angle had been different and you had been able to crop it out, no one would be talking about what score it should receive depending on how "easy" or "difficult" it was to take the picture. Besides, I'm sure it was darn difficult to get that one! So, you can crop out a feeder and get a high score but if you clone out that feeder you get DQed - doesn't seem right some how. :-(
Regardless, excellent image and excellent PP! |
Good point! and we know there is no outdoor flower in winter, and we know the only method is the feeder, and we know the feeder has been the traditional method for years. The two editing methods (crop and clone out) should have exactly the same emotional impact on the matter of "easy" or "difficult". Thank you so much for the comment!
