My interpretation of Soft Focus is obviously different to yours as I dont feel this has any soft qualities at all and may just be a little out of focus (MHO)

as a piece of photographic art, i like this a lot. it is a great shot of america, and has an almighty sense of dated realness in a 1970's polaroid kind of way... whether or not it's good for this particular challenge, i am not entirely sure. in some respects, the focus seems either a bit too sharp (the lamp posts, for example), or where it doesn't, seems too out of focus to be considered soft (traffic lights and trees). but i like it! i like the splashes of gold on the left, the shiny areas on the tarmac, the droplets on the glass. so much character, so much to look at. so 7 overall.

Would have been better it we could see the label saying not to take it with alcohol. Perhaps also with a half full glass too. JMO. 6
