wow .. i saw your previous photo first ... so i'm thinking your capture of the bird coming towards the nest is pretty amazing ... i can imagine you're zoom would'v been quite a lot ... so the clarity of the image is excellent .. when i zoom to 200mm it gets so grainy and loses so much quality ...
i really like this image too ... with the nest perched right on top of the telegraph pole and that bird sitting on the wire ..

so well done on an excellent capture .. i love the entire image too .. great composition .. doesnt need any processing coz its perfect just the way it is ......

So, is it a graveyard? That didn't occur to me at all at first glance, it was only after I read through the comments that I started paying a bit more attention to the regular white tiles... (I really thought the tree was the focus of it, and the background was coincidental).

If it is a graveyard, then the subject matter is interesting, and the title works on several levels. And the tree seems to be dancing, there's a nice contrast between actual life which is moving and dancing (despite trees normally being still), and the symbols of absence of life in the background.

The composition is nice, although I would've liked to see the entire tree - it seems a shame that some of the branches are cut off. The colours are beautiful.

All in all - a very good shot, although I think it would have scored even more highly had the subject matter been more obvious.

How GLORIOUS! The wildflowers are blooming so pretty here in Texas, and I have searched and searched to find a field like this -- covered in beautiful color. . .but no such luck yet. You have succeeded, and it is AWESOME!

i really really liked the colours in the unedited version roger ... i like the shapes and movement in the b&w tho ...... so both win, but in different ways!!
