A simple tree...too much soonby Rino63Comment by naplesmusc: typo in the title...ideas OK for the challenge, but for a great photo you overdid the accessories. the tree is lost. the quality is also hurt by the droppings and stuff at bottom of pic. |

Home sweet home......by Rino63Comment by ambaker: Critique Club Review:
The vase and flowers does come across as the subject of the piece. Which probably cost you some points. Curtains are completely blown out at the right of the picture, losing all detail. Since the rest of the picture is darker in comparison, the eye keeps going to the featureless white space.
The rest of the room is a little dark for my taste, but the colors, focus, depth of field, are all very good. I really like the lighting of the vase, and its contrast to the surroundings. |

Der Himmel über Berlinby Rino63Comment by mpeters: This is a very good shot. I don't know the translation but to me it has a sense of impending action or even something more sinister. The tilt is perfect along with the negative space. Very Powerful picture. |

My summer holidays in Italyby Rino63Comment by Tlemetry: I tend to avoid the bottom 1/3rd horizontal line when the sky has no texture. However, I understand the lightpost dictated that this time around. This is something not quite right here and I'm not sure what it is. It might be the angle of the light. I would remove the bright white spot in the middle of the water. This would make a great panoramic if you cropped off the top. |
