Waiting for Sixteenby aimeethetooComment by K3Master: She sat, alone, and pouted.
What am I doing here? Where am I going? Will I pass this year? Will I ever graduate? Why don't my teachers like me and why are they always on my case and why do I always get so much homework and why doesn't Danny call me anymore he said he would and he says he loves me but Jenny says he saw him with Angie on the weekend and I hate him I'll show him I'll hit on Trevor I think Trevor likes me but he smokes and I don't like smokers and my dad would kill me if he thought I was seeing a smoker oh no I told dad I'd get home right away to help him clean out the garage I'm in shit I bet he doesn't let me watch Survivor tonight I'll have to find out what happens from Barbara and he'd better let me go to the party at Sarah's on the weekend and why does my life have... to...
SUCK.

Waiting for Sixteenby aimeethetooComment by Lydia: Well planned and composed. I wish her face didn't appear so blown... Still i like the whole of the image... the pattern of the stairs with her interrupting the pattern. (not voting yet) |

rememberingby aimeethetooComment by KarenNfld: In the morning hour
She waits
For a heartbeat
A sigh
A whisper
And she remembers
I'm not trying to be another K10DGuy with my "poem" comment, but some photos just move me. I write little poems off and on and after seeing this photo and thinking about it for a while, the poem came to me. I love the whiteness of the image (high-key, over exposure, whatever you want to call it). I love her pose and her gaze. She has a lot on her mind, we can't tell if it is happy or sad memories, probably a little of both. It might have been a tad bit better if she were nude and you could not see the bit of clothing, but because it's white it doesn't make that much of a difference. This looks like aimeethetoo so whoever took this photo, Tim or Aimee, you've done a wonderful job and it's very deserving of a 10. I don't normally "go crazy" for people photos, it takes a special one to move me. |
