Niles Canyon Railwayby TarbiniComment by lumbardh: Is it ok to use masking like this in a challenge? I'm not trying to DQ you or anything, I can only achieve this effect with contrast masking. I would love to learn how to do it right out of the camera. |

Another Timeby TarbiniComment by Kavey: Interesting use of soft focus (or filter?) - it makes the image seem to glow. My only criticism would be in the assembly of the triptych - I feel the line of the angled roof ought to flow straight from one frame to the other - in your assembly the line is slightly out. Nice image(s) though with a beautiful old time feel. |
