Day 5: Sorcha's Obsessionby RebeccaComment by Melethia: I really like this. You apologize for the tilt, but I think it works very well tilted - that along with the cat's head movement and the running water gives it an "alive-ness" that it wouldn't have had otherwise. Very nice processing - and thanks for sharing how you did it, too. My only suggestion would be to lighten the "line" that runs up the left side of the cat on the edge of the picture. Day 6: Hail Stormby RebeccaComment by violinist123: Nice photo. Good timing capturing this scene. I think venturing down to street level to really focus on that 'karma' license plate would have really kicked this shot off. If your karma gets you a hailstorm pounding your car, its time to become a monk or something. Good luck on your exams. |

Day 6: Hail Stormby RebeccaComment by JerseyGenie: First off, good luck on the finals, got a feeling you won't need the luck. The weather was beautifully captured in your shot. I have no reason why, but I think the newstand really adds to the quality of the photo. |

Day 5: Sorcha's Obsessionby RebeccaComment by jaysonmc: Interesting concept and nice high key photo. Not sure of the kilter myself, but the action/emotion is amazing in the photo. Tough shot to get both the cat and the water blur (1 second), but creates a wonderful drama. |

Day 5: Sorcha's Obsessionby RebeccaComment by jonfrommk: A strange (but not in a bad way) image...High focus on the tap and soft on the cat. My first impression was ooo no, but the more I looked at it the more I liked it. Love the intensity of the cats expression
V minor issue, the tile grouting just below and to the right of the tap is a little distracting in terms of the tones of the pic (imo)
