VFRby KronusComment by otisXmike: Bikes look like so much fun... Maybe to get the bike to pop out a bit more you could blur the BG out in the cam, or after in PS (the first being the better way though probably).
I get to take my first shot at photographing a bike in a few weeks, some friends are just getting finished building one, so I'll gladly take your critique then. |

VFRby KronusComment by Tej: Great bike in good location. Some technicals can be worked upon to make it even better. Lighting is little harsh. An overcast day or evening would be better time to click. Also it seems like this is saved in low quality JPEG and some jpeg artifects are visible.
... and I envy you for having such a bike :) |

Armorvillaby KronusComment by otisXmike: I love the color of this image. The perspective makes it great too.
This brings back memories from my childhood. I was at my aunts house and I was snooping around an old barn... I went up into the attic of the barn and I saw one of these (stuffed also)... I think I wet myself and nearly fell down the stairs. |

Little Brotherby KronusComment by eschelar: LARF! Hilarious stuff!
I like the gloominess. Something about the rough level of polish gives an authenticity to this pic that might be lost if you had really pushed it hard with a perfect exposure, neat image, dodging and burning such as is common to portraits... It still might do with being a tiny bit sharper and higher contrast in the faces if you wanted to play with it a bit... more for detail than look and feel.
I get a very 'country hill' feeling from the shot... |
