lovely colours .. we have a chinese elm in our yard, in fact two .. they came as cuttings from my mum's house where they had a giant of a tree . .. you have winter and we have summer here .. i much prefer summer .. i'm really liking the darkness and the beautiful colours in this image .. the wind may'v added a lovely soft look as well .. :)

It's a good thing you tried the border. Along with the really sharp reflection, it gives the feeling the leaf is posed on top of ice. An all around wonderful job IMO.

I like the border, though borders in general seem to bring out the rabid tendencies in the people I like to call the "Border Police". LOL!!!
