Lovely interactive bird composition, bokeh excellent, super composition, good NG style title based on the burnt branch and trunk. But wildfires are a necessary "evil" to the regeneration of bush and life. The male bird has caught lunch because of it? Not so crisp focus on the birds and possibly for this reason I don't think NG would publish however, sorry!

You'll read here so many times : what great color palette, and for a good reason too. Hard to mark so many great shots with birds and animals and I'm afraid some might get lost.

Forks in the branches I presume. I like the idea of peeping through, rather than a full on birds nest (I always worry that the photographer has disturbed the nest and the parents won't return).

This easily looks Sepia to me, but if I untick the calibration button it looks slightly less sepia, maybe wherein lies the problem, other than that it's a fine capture and the background, well that's just stunning.
