Surely the moose is the world's dopiest-looking creature? But I probably misjudge them; they are probably clever and agile and climb up and down pine trees with ease. This might be the nicest portrait of a moose that I've seen, with the animal nicely contrasted against the brush. It's quite flattering! Thank you.

Mostly, the 36" of snow has melted at elevations below 9000'. Still deep above tree line and in the tundra. TRR not opening this weekend because of drifting snow and icy road.
