I really like this image. It is borderline cheesy with the pink and light blue, but definitely on the right side of the border. I wish I would take images this good :) I like the soft and calm feel of it. For me the tree line in the front is somewhat distracting, but not much you could do about it, so it is still a 9 from me. Great shot and best of luck in the challenge :)

That costume shop looks like a really neat place to browse. My eye is drawn more to the worker on the right that is looking at the display in the window; his stance and direction looks like he is window shopping and might even be considering going in to search for a costume. I think that is where the strength of the image rests. In my opinion the left half does not do much for the composition aside from showing more of the costume displays in the window. The two men on the right side are having a discussion and are not focused at all on the shop - to me they distract from where you want us to see (costume shopping given the title). I think it would strengthen the composition to crop the picture to just show the man on the right standing in front of that one display window for he does look like is contemplating going in and shopping for a costume.

Beautiful. I love all the layers of color... Could totally see this as one of those sand sculptures. Makes me want to go for a hike. My favorite in this challenge.
