It's a nice image, it really is - however, the reflection is barely a side show here and the theme of the challenge is in the reflection.

ok .. in my head when this opened .. i went .. OH WOW ... !!!!!
i havent seen much of your competition .. so i dont know how this would stack up in the challenge .. but its a stand out image ... everything about this is wonderful .. the saturated colours .. well on my monitor at least .. and the sunbathers ... who knew that those guys could share a special moment ... or three ...
having looked a bit closer .. i'm not sure about the alligator tho .. or is he a crocodile .. but that look in his eye has me worried for those turtles/tortoises ..
not going that well with species identification am i ...
anyway .. this is definitely an OH WOW .. fantastic composition as well btw ..
hoping this goes really well ...

I must also thank KarenNfld for her Blue Ribbon Winner in the 2011 Stripes challenge which I was trying to copy for a Stripes photo a day project. So I placed a glass ball on top of an upside wine glass in front of some blinds. My resulting photo was crap. So I just started playing with it - flipped it - ran it thru Nik Viveza and Color Efex - nothing helped. Finally decided to see what filters were in Smart Photo Editor and ended up with what you see know. Remembered the DPC challenge for Abstract and thought it would work here too. Probably should have centered it more - didn't think about it until it was too late.
