Day 09by darnokComment by eamurdock: This is a nice shot, but for me it lacks a subject... if, as you say, the background were less focused the tree would stand out more as a subject.
I would try a portrait crop, too, since your subject is more vertical than horizontal, or if not a crop to accentuate the "frame" created by the trunk and the branch. |

they certainly look ok in this picture.
and i think it's a good thing to go back and try something again if it doesn't come out the way you want.
