Swirling Greenby timj351Comment by Journey: I always appreciate hosta leaves, but in real and in pictures. You gave them a nice, almost abstract here and there, treatment. Yet, there isn't any particular area in this shot that you emphasized and my eye is wandering around the picture plane and not quite knowing where it should rest. 6 Journey |

Swirling Greenby timj351Comment by inspzil: This looks a lot like a painting with the sort of swirly brush stroke appearance of the leaves. The lighting is just a bit flat and I think you should've adjusted the framing slightly so that the swirly thing was at one of the thirds as opposed to dead center
